Steven Salgado is an awarded Hispanic American director, writer, actor, and CEO founder of Salgado Studios.

He was born in Lima, Peru in 1980. He has an Associate Degree and a Bachelor Degree in Film, Television and Digital Production from Miami Dade College.

As a filmmaker, he was recognized for his shortfilm Tango dreams (2017) with an Audience Award by Film Gate Nola, a Best Inspirational Short Film by 15 Minutes of Fame Film Festival and an Award of Commendation by Canada Short Film Festival.

He has written and directed four movies Cinderella: The Enchanted Beginning (2018), Rapunzel: A princess Frozen in Time (2019), A Christmas Carol (2019) and Snow White (Post-Production).

As an actor, he was recognized for his performance on the play The Orgy (2017) with an HOLA as Best Assembly Cast by the Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors of New York.

He has played in more than 30 plays like The Orgy (2017), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2018), The Chunga (2019) and others.

As a writer, he has published the books The seventh guardian of the Moon: In the Moon (2013), Tales from the silence (2015), The Neon Fish (2017), and the children book The Adventure of Dino (2020).
