Steven Salgado_Bio

Steven Salgado is a Peruvian actor and director born on February 11,  1980.

He has directed two film (both currently post-production) and more than ten shortfilms, including “Chicos”, “Tango Dreams’ & “Beyond The Sun”. Many of his works has been awarded in national and international film festivals.

Performed in more than twenty plays, such as “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, “The Orgy” “Our Town” & “Cocktails”.

He was awarded in “The Orgy” with a HOLA (Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors of New York) for “Best Ensemble Cast” in 2017 and nominated to “Best Actor” by the “Dominican Commissioner of Culture of New York” for the same play.

He studied Drama at the National School of Drama in Peru, along with writing, mime and dance. He graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree (A.A) in Film Production at Miami Dade College in Miami Florida. He is currently adquiring a Bachellor of Science Degree (B.A.S.) in Film, Television and Digital Production at Miami Dade College.

In 2015, Steven Salgado founded Dorado a non-profit organization where he creates arts projects for the global community.
