Synopsis
Mario Vargas Llosa has tried, in his own words, ”to project into dramatic fiction the human totality of actions and dreams, of facts and fantasies.” Faced with such an ambitious aim in a rare venture into the theater by this eminent Peruvian novelist, one is prepared for a fantastic Vargas Llosa adventure. Instead one has to settle for something less than a short story on stage.
