Biography
Based on Miami, Florida, Steven Salgado an awarded actor, filmmaker, mime, writer, director, producer and CEO founder of TISArt Nonprofit Organization and Salgado Studios Film & Media.
Steven was born in Lima, Peru (1980). He began studying acting at MALI (1994), clown at Bola Roja (2006), theatre at ENSAD National School of Drama (2008) and mime at The School of the Silence (2010), After that, Steven moved to Miami, Florida (2012).
In USA, Steven has earned a M.F.A in Film & TV Production (Current) at Asbury University, a Certificate in Film & Television Industry Essentials at New York University (2022) a B.A.S Degree in Film, Television & Digital Production at Miami Dade College (2021) and an A.S Degree in Film Production at Miami Dade College (2017).
Steven was awarded with a HOLA as Best Outstanding Performance by an Assembly Cast by the play “The Orgy” (New York 2017) In addition, his short film “Tango Dreams” won the Audience Award at Film Gate Nola (Miami 2017), a Best Inspirational Short Film at 15 Minutes of Fame Film Festival (West Palm Beach 2017) and an Award of Commendation at Canada Short Film (Canada 2017).
