Based on Miami, Florida, Steven Salgado is an awarded actor, mime, writer, producer, director, founder of Salgado Studios, a film and media production company and Co-founder of Tamara & Steven, a kids and families performing arts organization.

Steven was born in Lima, Peru (1980). He began studying acting at MALI (1994), clown at Bola Roja (2006), theatre at ENSAD National School of Drama (2008) and mime at The School of the Silence (2010), After that, Steven moved to Miami, Florida (2012).

In USA, Steven has earned an A.S Degree in Film Production at Miami Dade College (2017), a B.A.S Degree in Film, Television and Digital Production at Miami Dade College (2021) and a Certificate in Film & Television Industry Essentials at New York University (2022).

Steven was awarded with a HOLA as Best Outstanding Performance by an Assembly Cast by the play “The Orgy” (New York 2017) In addition, his short film “Tango Dreams” won the Audience Award at Film Gate Nola (Miami 2017), a Best Inspirational Short Film at 15 Minutes of Fame Film Festival (West Palm Beach 2017) and an Award of Commendation at Canada Short Film (Canada 2017).

So far, Steven has written, produced and directed 3 feature films, 12 short films, published 3 juvenil books, 1 children book, produced 1 storytelling podcast, played in most of 40 plays in cities like Lima, Merida, New York, Orlando and Miami.

At the moment, Steven Salgado is working in new projects.
